Grooming
All breed dog grooming is now being offered at Redtrail!
I am a Professional Certified Dog groomer, I Graduated from the highly respected "Bandbox Poodle Salon" in Calgary Alberta. While at the Bandbox I groomed hundreds of dogs while being under the watchfull eye of Carol Brouse, Master Groomer.
After the Bandbox I then pursued my career at "All Bright Dogs" Where I worked for three years and built a sucessful large client base. After ABD I moved to Rural Redvers Saskatchewan where I now offer my services from my home.
At Redtrail grooming your dog will enjoy a stress free environment. I have a helper come in to hold nervous adults and puppies. I only do one dog at a time, so there is NO waiting around in cages and all dogs are fluff dried by hand...not cage dried with dangerous heated blowers.
Small dog grooms on average take about 2 hours, owners can either wait in my living room, drink a coffee and watch TV or can go home and return for the dog at their convenience.
After the groom while your dog is awaiting your return they can either have a nap on one of the many doggie beds around the house or play...its their choice!
A full groom includes: Bath, nails, clippering/scissoring, Removal of any loose undercoat.
I do not under any circumstances "De-Mat" I believe it to be highly cruel...So please don't even ask! (Brushing is free at home!)
Boarding
At Redtrail one of the services I offer my puppy buyers is boarding services. I also offer boarding to the public but at this time I can only accept small breed dogs.
Boarding is $15.00/night
Your dog will enjoy its own spacious outdoor run (as weather permits) during the day. With several romps in one of our large yards or long walks on our property. At night your dog will come into the house for some TLC, supper and to bed in a cozy crate!
Dogs can be fed food you bring from home, or my own food (at an extra cost) I will feed according to your schedual to limit stress on the dog.
Training
I have been training dogs for 7 years, apprenticed under trainer Laurie Albright. I have worked with big, small, shy, aggressive, fearfull and hyper dogs. I have titled dogs in multiple venues such as, Obedience, flyball, racing, lure coursing and Go to Ground...I have competed and or trained in other events such as Agility and Rally-O and Conformation
I offer private training at my house for $25.00/hour or your house for $50.00/hour + mileage
I believe in positive motivational training, that means no choke chains, hitting, yelling or pain to your dog. I use treats and toys and praise to train.
